Twenty Brinks Gilson & Lione Attorneys Named Illinois Super Lawyers for 2017
Two Recognized as Rising Stars

CHICAGO—Twenty attorneys at intellectual property law firm Brinks Gilson & Lione have been named to the 2017 Illinois Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers, a rating service that lists outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Twelve Brinks attorneys are recognized as outstanding in the category of Intellectual Property Litigation and eight are recognized as outstanding in Intellectual Property.

In addition, Super Lawyers named two Brinks attorneys to its 2017 Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.

Super Lawyers seeks to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for businesses and consumers searching for legal counsel. The rating service uses a patented annual selection process that includes peer nominations, assessments of 12 indicators of professional achievement, and peer evaluations.

To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either age 40 or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. While up to five percent of the lawyers in a state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named Rising Stars.
