Managing IP Recognizes Three Brinks Gilson & Lione Offices, Ranks Ten Attorneys as IP Stars

CHICAGO—For the fifth consecutive year, Managing Intellectual Property, publisher of the annual comprehensive legal directory IP STARS, has accorded a Highly Recommended ranking to the Illinois office of intellectual property law firm Brinks Gilson & Lione, and a Recommended ranking to the firm’s offices in North Carolina and Michigan.

The publication recognized Brinks Gilson & Lione in the areas of Copyright, Patent Contentious, Patent Prosecution, Trademark Contentious, and Trademark Prosecution.

Based on feedback from peers and clients, Managing IP additionally acknowledged ten Brinks attorneys as outstanding IP practitioners in its IP Stars list.

Chicago-based attorneys James R. Sobieraj, William H. Frankel, Brad Lane were named both a Patent Star and Trademark Star. Alejandro (Alex) Fernandez of the firm’s Tampa, Fla., office, and Steven L. Oberholtzer of Brinks’ Ann Arbor, Mich., office were also named Patent and Trademark Stars.
