Mark David Jenkins

“If you want to provide value to your clients, you have to know what’s going on in their marketplace.”

Patent attorney Mark David Jenkins brings significant industry experience to his work assisting chemical and biotechnology clients with patent prosecution, due diligence reviews, freedom-to-operate analyses, validity analyses, and post-grant proceedings in the U.S. and abroad.

He provides guidance on the overall IP strategies of his clients, managing large international patent portfolios and applications. He also frequently coordinates the legal strategies for companies simultaneously involved in both domestic post-grant proceedings and European patent opposition proceedings.

Mark regularly advises clients in the pharmaceutical, crop-science, polymer, and personal care sectors, and has developed particular experience working with tissue-banking companies in the emerging area of regenerative medicine. A former product development chemist for a global absorbent product design company and analytical chemist for a major healthcare corporation, Mark takes pride in his responsiveness to clients as well as his awareness of their industries. Thinking forward for his clients, he stays ahead of technological developments as well as changes in the law.
