Betsy Derwinski focuses on U.S. and foreign patent application preparation and prosecution, currently devoting a significant portion of her practice to leading athletic footwear and apparel manufacturers. Betsy also has extensive experience in medical devices, surgical equipment and methods of use, including cardiovascular devices and products used in reproductive health technology. In addition to patent application preparation and prosecution, she provides patentability, validity and infringement analyses and opinions, and counsels clients on patent portfolio management and strategic planning.
