Making Money from Music: Chicago Music Innovation and Intellectual Property
On April 22, 2015 Brinks is sponsoring World IP Day 2015. World IP Day celebrates the contribution that intellectual property rights offer to all areas of creative expression. It is celebrated in over 20 cities throughout the U.S. and in many countries across the world.
The program, 'Making Money from Music: Chicago Music Innovation and Intellectual Property,” offers students, musicians, writers and producers, and any others interested in Chicago’s music scene a unique opportunity to hear from and talk to artists and those in the business.
The featured artists include Doyle Armbrust, from the Spektral Quartet; Matt Clark, from White/Light; Ralph Covert, from Ralph’s World and the Bad Examples (a Grammy nominee); and Kelvin Goode, formerly of G-Unit Records, Inc.
