Brinks Gilson & Lione IP Litigator Fernandez Named to Florida Legal Elite 2016
TAMPA—Alejandro J. Fernandez, a partner and litigator at Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States, has been named to Florida Legal Elite 2016. The annual listing of legal leaders by Florida Trend magazine names fewer than two percent of active Florida Bar members who practice in the state, and this year includes only 20 attorneys who practice intellectual property law.
Fernandez is the managing partner of Brinks’ newly established Tampa, Fla. office. His practice focuses on patent, trademark, trade dress, and copyright litigation in areas including pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, telecommunications, and energy. Fernandez earned his J.D. and Franklin Pierce Intellectual Property Law Certificate from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and holds a B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Now in its 13th year, Florida Legal Elite presents a prestigious roster of attorneys chosen by a poll of members of the Florida Bar. Lawyers were asked to name attorneys whom they hold in the highest regard or would recommend to others.
